Wooden Floor Tiles

We have a wooden floor downstairs consisting of six-inch square tiles (six slats per tile) which I rather like but which needs some repair and TLC. In particular there are some missing/damaged tiles which I need to replace. I believe these floors were commonly used in Badgers Walk when the houses were built and I was wondering if anyone had any spares going? I've tried ebay and other sites but there seem to be every other shape/size but this! Many thanks.

Edward, thanks so much for your reply. I need about ten tiles - would you have enough mahogany for that? I'll happily buy it from you if you have. Otherwise, when you say B&Q do you mean the one in Reading near the stadium? If you want to contact me directly, my email address is smatthews@fastmail.fm. Thanks again.

Some years ago I had the same problem and could not find a source for spare bits so I bought the mahogany in long lengths and cut them to size and stuck them on to a backing card and then fitted them. Quite easy to do. There is a very good timber supplier that sells all sorts of hard woods / timber. It is on the opposite side of the road to B&Q. Cant remember the name but it is quite a big building. If you just want small bits I have some mahogany that would be suitable.
Edward Harding.
