A4155 junction visibility concerns
There's lots of overgrown grass/weeds on the western side of the junction at the top of Station Road. Have reported this to the council FixMyStreet site, but they are just 'monitoring' it. So not sure if/when they might chop it back. Have seen a couple of near misses with cars travelling along the A4155 toward Reading coming close to hitting cars turning into Station Road or heading out of Woodlands Road. Today arrived at the junction post a collision, not sure if visibility was an issue. Wondered if the Parish Council can look into or if not then just be extra careful there.

Some of the vegatation has been cut, but it is still dangerous as the vegetation needs to be trimmed more around the corner towards Henley. I will re-raise on fix my street.

This was dicussed yesterday at the Shiplake Parish Council meeting and Cllr Manning will follow up too, using FixmyStreet.com which is OCC's preferred medium for alerting them to dangers. If no action is taken quickly by OCC then we can use the reference number to accelerate through our County councillor. fixmystreet.com if you'd like to register your voice on this or any other issue related to Shiplake parish roads. OCC are most likley to take action when you mention safety

Strongly agree with you. A couple of times recently a car has come into view just after I've started to turn into Station Road. Fortunately they've been travelling at a sensible speed and I could cross without causing them to brake. I've a high driving position, but with a lower driving position and cars going faster there's a clear risk of accident. I've added my email address to your report on FixMyStreet. Perhaps others could do likewise to demonstrate a general concern?
