Friday flowers

Good morning

Did you know it's British Flowers week? 

Less than 15% of cut flowers sold in this country are British. So I'm doing my little bit towards improving this statistic!

This week my flowers will include

Canterbury bells (these are surprisingly good as cut flowers and last well in the vase). Sweet William (I may have some extra bunches of these) Orlaya grandiflora, nigella, lupin, foxgloves, clary sage, ammi majus, agrostemma and a few ranunculus.

If you change the water every couple of days, keep cut flowers out of direct sun and remove all the foliage below the water line (I already do this to my cut flowers), your flowers will last much longer.
