Please contact me if you have complaints with the bus service

I am about to complain to Reading BC about the bus service and I recall that somebody on the forum had this same issue as me.  Yesterday the Aqua bus, which was running late, did not pull into the village hut bus stop despite the fact it's a stop, I'd been waiting some time and I was unmissable at the bus stop in a bright red dress.  When I realised what was happening I chased the bus down the A4155 because otherwise I would have been late for my hospital spinal procedure and been charged by Bupa.  He finally saw me in his mirror running down the A4155 and stopped.  I am forbidden to run by consultants and didn't even know I could, adrenaline!  If you need to go to hospital via the buses because you are not allowed to drive due to having anaesthesia then I think it's a far safer bet to get the train to Reading and then walk to Circle Hospital!  Please contact me directly if you too are having this problem with drivers refusing to pull into the Shiplake stop before I complain via Resolver.  The driver refused to give a name or badge number, he was not wearing a badge.

Hi Wendy. There was a gentleman who posted on here recently who also said that the buses are not pulling off of the A4155 but stopping there and causing a dangerous road hazard plus he is disabled and they make him walk up to the road but this was even worse, the bus just carried on at speed along the A4155 without pulling in at the war memorial and wasn't going to stop and the driver was later very defensive. Perhaps you have been lucky!

That must have been very difficult for you and do sympathise , but in my experience the new service has been a real improvement , running generally on time with a welcome 30 minute service
